100 is average, so that's good.
85-115 is average range, so that's good.
140 is genius, so that's great.

100 is the theoretical mean score.
The standard deviation is 15. So "good" as in better than average would be 2 Standard deviations above the mean. Assuming a bell curve that would put you in the top 3%.

I think perfectly "normal" is 100. However, it is my [personal and humble] opinion that if you are sucking air and free from horrible pain, your IQ score is just as good as anyone's -- even Marilyn_vos_Savant.

I truly do admire Marilyn and used to really enjoy her column when we subscribed to the Sunday paper. I equally admire my friend with a virtually immeasurable IQ. He does walk, eat, and have some primitive tool use. One day he held open a trash can lid and waited for me to deposit a paper towel. The smile he gave me was priceless. We all have the IQ we need to do the job we were created to do. It's our responsibility to discover what that job is. God bless us all.
