I have fuzzy hair and it takes a lot of work straightening it and putting in conditioners, fuzzfree products etc. I thought if I permed it I could wet it and leave it to dry without too much effort, but what is the trend now..too daggy??? I have long blonde hair.

You should do what you want, although depending on the style and how you long your hair is, a perm would not be out of style. Now if you had it poofy like in the 80s now that would show! I think that if you scrunch it, it wouldn't look so old fashioned. Why don't you try a perm with larger curls? 90s also was big on perms with those little tiny rollers. I think that if you decide to go with it, you should try larger curlers. If your hair is thin, I would re-think your plan because perms can really really damage your hair! I'm not kidding either. Ask any hair-dresser, my Mom,Grandma, and Aunt are professional HairDressers and have permed others and their own hair, and they will tell you the same thing!

Yes I think that getting a perm is a little dated! You say it takes a long time to straighten. Why don't you try a straightening lotion? They work great. Also if you try to blow dry your hair straight with a brush first you might only have to go over a few pieces with your flat iron. That is what I do in the morning....

Wash. Wash. Wash. you're able to get out the chemical compounds till now the set in in case you only presently permed it. you could purchase shampoos designed to strighten hair too, sturdy theory to p.c.. some up! pay attention! no remember what you do, you would finally end up with damaged or frizzy hair! sturdy success!

Not at all it is what you prefer as a look if you have a narrow face you would want the perm to make your face fuller.

No, I see plenty of good looking women with permed hair. Just make it 'your' look!

I use a permanant product to straighten my hair. My hairdresser uses it. It's better than hair relaxers used to straighten your hair.

perming (straightening or curling) is tough on hair.

go to a haircare specialist and talk with them about it. they may have suggestions and/or simple (simpler!) solutions to your hair woes.
