If there is no zebra-god, why were zebras created? The simple-minded assumption that because humans are here on earth there must have been a creator is more wishful thinking than anything else. A better question might be why would God would go to all the trouble to create the entire universe, give life to humankind, and then not leave a single tangible piece of evidence of his existence.

There is no reason why humans were created, it just happened. That's like asking the reason that gravity exists or something; it just does. That's just what this universe is like. I know right now you're probably thinking "gravity exists because god made it". Well then I've got some questions for you: why does god exist? Who made him? What's he made of? God does not explain why or how we are here, because there is no explanation of where he came from. If you believe that he just magically appeared, then why can't you believe that humans did the same?

So you're saying that humans have to exist for some reason? I don't blame you for thinking that, just trying to understand your logic. Most people would be interested in 'how' humans got here, if there wasn't a god around.
I have a theory involving aliens, but it's a bit detailed. I need to work on it more, anyway.

The fact of the matter is that if there were no god it would be necessary to create one. And as another answerer already stated, it requires just as much faith to deny a god as it does to believe. The very definition of faith requires you to believe with strong conviction in something that is unprovable. The inability to dis-prove the unprovable requires faith to deny god.

Tell me who gave you that idea, and can you get your money back?
Of course there is a God. You don't see His fingerprints on you?
The way the trees move to praise Him, that is no coincidence. The birds sing to His majesty. The sun shines for HIs glory. There is no God?
How are you breathing?

Read Genesis chaps 1 and 2. Humans were created to fill the earth (not to over crowd it); and to take care of it (not to ruin it).

There is God.
Humans are created to serve God, obey His commandments, and fellowship with God.

maybe we have no purpose and there is no why we as a species was created
but i think if you ask an atheist what happens when you die they say nothing and i say what scientific prove is there,
there is none
so, they have a faith, a faith that nothing happens
while this might be true, it requires me to do nothing different if there is nothing that will happen
but couldn't i investigate other faiths? since faith in something other than nothing that doesn't have scientific proof, couldn't that also be true

Well, you've just stumbled into a great mystery. There is a scientific explanation, but I'm not going to bore you. Anyway, it is a very debated subject.
