If you're in Pusan, there should be lots of foreigner bars where Aussies hang out. If you can't find any, why don't you go to Ulsan? It's right next to Pusan and there are lots of foreigner bars. I know of one specific, called the Royal Knight. It's right next to the "Big Watch" in the downtown area. Lots of Foreign Teachers hang out there. I used to as well when I lived there. Good guys, so don't worry. Last time I went there, about a year ago, the beer price went up a lot. So be prepared.
Hope you find a place in Pusan. That's still your best bet.

There is an Irish bar owned by a Kiwi guy in Gaya...

Went there once, its a good place, good company etc.
Gaya is the subway station next to Seomyeon.
Enjoy... beer is cheap too.
