Cause for the most part many if not most of the holy roller christians think their religion is the only way and is the "truth" blah blah. It is just so annoying when people on this site say that and then quote the bible or something. It would be pretty interesting to end up finding out all the stuff in the bible are just stories a bunch of men made up and people follow by today.

You will not hear this Christian talk of Truth or unless it is in reference to Christ Jesus and his teachings from the King James Version of the Bible - and then it's because he said, I am the Truth, the Way, and the Life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me. Their are many religious christians who have no truth in them whatsoever, but a Christian, one who has accepted Jesus Christ the only begotten son of God as the Truth will know him as Truth and often refer to Him as such - we don't mean to confuse those who have not found him - like so many areas of life - it becomes shop talk! We should be more explanatory in our answers and not make such assumptions. The same for Hindus, Muslims, etc. Some times they put in answers like I should know what they are talking about. I've read their materials and studied some basic belief systems, but I'm not a scholar in their theocracy as I don't see the need to fill my mind with anything other than Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit convicts me quite rapidly when what I read is of God, our creator, and I should continue or when it is not and I should not continue. I hope this has helped you understand a little more of why we may seemingly leave you feeling quite in the dark at times. My sincerest apologies for not expounding.

"Christianity" is not new, only the name is. It's really part of the Jewish faith. Only after Jesus Christ was it called Christianity.
We use the term truth a lot because Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father but by me." And He said, "The truth will set you free and he whom the Son sets free is free indeed." And it is also written that people are lost because they don't have a love of the truth. Truth becomes very important when Jesus IS that Truth.

To a christian, God's word is law - thus the Truth.
Keep that in mind when learning about Christian- they are not trying to force it on you by telling you it is the truth - it is simply what they believe, whether you do or not.

Anyone who calls his own religion a lie is a fool.
Everyone believes his own religion to be Truth.

I have heard other religions, such as muslim, quote it as truth from Mohammed... and if they can't convert the infidels, they are supposed to kill them...that means everyone not a muslim. Christianity may be a strong belief, but it is relatively peaceful.
