Good question!!!
I think that God is simply an uncaring son/daughter of a ***** who can not be an athiest as (s)he is eternally and omnipotently screwing people around on a cosmic level.
It's time for all good people to ignore the swine!!
As for all these answers saying go read your bible while intimating that you are dumb to even ask the question can not be very good Christians if they insult!!
"To be a good Christian, read the bible, to be a good Jew, read the Torah, to be a good Muslim, read the Koran. It's easy, but to be a good athiest you have to read them all"

Atheism, in its broadest sense, is the absence of theism (the belief in the existence of deities). This encompasses both people who assert that there are no gods, and those who make no claim about whether gods exist or not. Narrower definitions of atheism, however, typically only label people who affirmatively assert the nonexistence of gods as atheists, classifying other nonbelievers as agnostics or simply non-theists.
"God" would have to not believe in himself/herself to be an athiest so the answer would be no.

That is the most ridiculous question that I have ever read. You are really reaching. You need to read the bible. Besides, believing in something "bigger" still means you are a believer....duh?

Silly statement, and one obviously able to convince most readers that you are intellectually dysfunctional.
But, here goes anyway.
An atheist is one who does not believe in the existence of God.
Therefore God CANNOT be an atheist. He has to believe in His existence as He experiences that existence constantly.
A nitwit question, but thanks for the 2 points.

Mine is. Not only that he's a solipsist. And that's because humans are not really fellow beings in the strict sense of the word. Humans are more like pets.
And angels don't really exist, and there is no devil. The devil is an evil fiction. Why do you ask?

that is an oxymoron. it is so uncomplimentary to one another it makes no sense. im sure god/mother earth believes in himself/herself.aside from that as a philosophy question....well i suppose that he/she does believe in a higher power because were here so obviously he/she believes in us. which ultimately gives us the position of higher being.

First, look up the definition of atheist. duh.
Second. God (HE) tells us all about Himself in His letters to us. Instead of asking dumb questions here, try educating yourself in the Bible.
