All of my dogs are of the over-sized varieties, and those are certainly what I like best, but I've always wanted a little Scottish Terrier, so maybe I'll go that direction in a few years, when my dog family has perhaps either lessened in size or mellowed with age, so that they won't think the little dog is lunch.

I have a small dog right now, but it wouldn't bother me to own a big dog and/or a stuffed toy dog because I love dogs- big, small, real or not real, any breed, with or without fur!

Smaller dogs are easier to handle when you're traveling, and I do that a lot. But I really prefer large dogs, like the golden retriever, in spite of their long coat that would shed like heck.

Personally I think big but it depends if I have a house then big but if I have an apartment then small or if I do not have time then stuffed!

The bigger the better!! better to hug and wrestle with!! Better to help you feel safe... and they can go for LONG LONG runs, and can keep up with you in the woods going hiking and camping...
