because God couldn't look upon sin, he had to send his son to earth which is Jesus to make a way so you can go to Heaven all you have to do is believe and accept him in your heart just by asking him in!( read John 3:16)and the father son and holy ghost are one, either you believe or you don't and either you go to Heaven or Hell when you die that is for eternity,so why not make a simple choice?we do worship god the father, son and holyghost which is all one. and may god bless you

Hello, I will ask you to do one thing before reading these scriptures, Pray for the Lord to open your eyes to the truth. Only God can do this. I am letting you know why I believe the way I do, I had these same questions as you, but I found the truth in the scriptures, and once the Lord opens your eyes to the truth, you will not be confused again. Jesus was God, robed in the flesh. Jesus the man that walked the earth was flesh like you and me, but he was filled with Gods spirit. The body that you and I walk around in is not us, what matters is our spirit with in, that is truly us. We are trapped in our mortal bodies on earth and if we live for God we will be free from this mortal body. God is a Spirit, he is everywhere, but he came down to earth in the form of Jesus. Just pray and read the scriptures and if you are interested in more scripture that testify to this fact, please contact me.
John 1:1  ¶In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14 Â And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Matthew 28:19 Â Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (The name is Jesus. Father ,Son and Holy Ghost are titles, for example: my dad is a father, he is a son, and he is an uncle, but his name is Lee.)
Genesis 1:1  ¶In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Isaiah 9:6 Â For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. ( This is prophecy from the old testament. Talking about Jesus) There is only one God and they called Jesus , The mighty God.
Proverbs 18:10  ¶The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
Isaiah 52:6 Â Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.
Romans 8:1  ¶There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Romans 10:13 Â For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
1 Corinthians 3:16  ¶Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

To worship God's son is to worship God, Christ said it himself. We do know what Jesus saves us from - eternal separation from God. I'm anything but totally blindly stupid enough to follow what "they" told me, I'm a 42 year old very intelligent woman and have studied and learned on my own. I've tried other ways, but none add up, divide or multiply - they just kept subtracting from what instinctively kept being the Truth. Ask God to reveal the Truth to you and he will in some form or fashion - and if you have a King James Version of the Bible, read in the New Testament the Book of John - then you will meet Jesus and why he too is God, not a right hand man, and you will learn what he saves us from and why, and you will no longer see us as stupidly blind, but as Truth-filled and we will welcome you as our sister and friend, a family member we've long been looking for and couldn't find!

Great question! The reason is that Christians believe that God/Christ/Holy spirit are 3 – in –one (Trinity) of the Godhead. I don’t believe in that myself, I think it’s blasphemous to pray/worship Christ. In bible it says that God is spirit and whosoever worship should worship in spirit and truth, and it also says to worship the creator not the creation. Jesus Christ never told anyone to worship him and the few records in the bible that are not clear should be seen under the light of the clear one’s. Over 2000 years of translation has messed this up. He himself worshiped the father, and came to reconcile men/women to God, not to himself. He is the way to the father, and since folks believe in trinity they mix match stuff…. What a loss…. I pray/worship to the father, the one and only true God and the father of my lord Jesus Christ. For God so loved the world that he send his son Jesus to be the ultimate sacrifice. People always need a symbol/person/an object, they lack the decipline to worship something they can't see! My 2 cents......

I believe in the trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. I believe that they are one. Read in the Bible the book of John, It shows that God came to this world in the flesh (Jesus). So God, our creator came to this earth, because we needed a perfect 'sacrifice' for our sins. Jesus is called God's son because Jesus was born of a virgin, and God was His 'Father'.
It is hard to answer fully right now, but I hope this helps.

Well, God is holy. Mankind is sinful. We can not approach God due to our sin. God sent Jesus into the world to be a mediator between God and man. That's why we pray to Jesus. Because God told us that if we wanted to talk to Him (God the Father) that we must go through Jesus (God the Son). That's why we do it. It is not meant to confuse you-but to be obedient. Now the important thing is....why don't you.

God has no son. We all are slaves of God. And so's Jesus . he is just the messenger of God and we all must believe in him and listen and follow his sayings. When did he say he was Son of God? I would like to know that

According to Triune Theory, god, jesus and the holy spirit are all the same thing, even though they can be separate as well.
Look at it like a stalk of clover. It has three leaves, but it can still be considered as one thing.
