The prayer he gave as an example to his disciples says Our Father who art in heaven ... then later he says that if he does not descend the "comforter" or the Holy Spirit can not be sent - so at the time he would have been praying to God the Father and God the Spirit - the two part fold of the the trinity as God the Son was in the flesh on earth, we also know at various times the Spirit was led to lead Jesus on earth - but we've no indicator that he was always with Jesus, confirming his Deity.

Jesus and his followers prayed to God. You will not find one place in scripture where the Apostles prayed to Jesus. Not one example.

However there are a couple examples of Jesus receiving worship. Even so, Jesus while Jesus was/is the Son of God - he is not God the Father.

Trinity was not taught in the New Testament Church. Its a matter of historic record that the Trinity concept was formulated by Tertullian around 200 AD (thats 200 years AFTER the New Testament Church was founded) - and this unholy Trinity teaching was officially embraced by the sinful Roman Catholic Church about a century later.

Jesus of course prayed to His Father, since Jesus' role in the trinity is obedience to the Father, and an example for men and women of how to be disposed towards the Father.

All other Christians since - the apostles included - pray to the Father through Jesus. Even today this remains true. For it is by the blood of Jesus that we are restored to the Father.

Trinity as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Three as one embodiment. Maybe since he was the son of god, christ may not have needed to pray to the trinity but to the Supreme god.

just in case yuo forgot jesus is god so we can pray to jesus.
We are commanded to pray to Jesus: Jn 14:14; James 1:1-7; 1 Cor 1:2; Eph 5:19; Acts 8:22
We have apostolic examples of praying to Jesus: Rev 22:20, 2 Cor 12:7-9, Acts 7:54-60; Acts 8:24
We have necessary inferences of pray to Jesus: 1 Jn 5:11-15, Acts 1:24; Heb 7:25
Jesus is God, so we can pray to God the son, and God the Father.
