I think it's a little sad that we have to do it, but - yes. I think the only way to fight terrorism is to nip it in the bud.
Truthfully, I wish there were no terrorists... I wish for world peace... but, with people who have no reguards for their own life or the lives of people in their own country (speaking of the terrorists places like Iraq, Afganistan) - I guess we have no choice but to go in and stop them doing whatever it takes.
I don't understand how some of the terrorists in Iraq can kill people in their own country like they are doing. Blowing up their own buildings - their own bus systems... destroying what they could all use (everyone in their country) peacefully.
Terrorists like that will not stop until they are snuffed out.

"curbing terrorism" was Austria-Hungary's reason for going to war on Serbia in 1914 and starting the First World War. "Disinterested Interventionism" was Hitler's reason for pre-empting an attack on Poland to stop the slavs from eventually heading west into German territory. These terms were used to justify wars in order to maintain the status quo, wars which cost terrible death. These are terms used By President Bush and Prime Minister Blair. In my eyes, they are as far-sighted as a pair of blind hedgehogs at night under ground in a bag locked in a safe with no electricity, matches or a lighter.

Well if it was me, after 9/11 and finding out about Saddam Hussein and others like him, nukes would have been my preferred weapon, and Iraq would be molten glass right now. So I think President Bush is being too easy on terrorist. They declared war on us not the other way around. We have the nukes and we have used them in the past. I can't understand why we are not using them now. But that is just me. My answer has always been nuke em until they glow and then shoot them in the dark when they attack us. Now why the hell we bother to get involved in policing the world is another story. I would bring our troops home and just have the Navy patrol the seas for free trade reasons. And then nuke anyone who tries anything on any U.S. citizen anywhere.

I think that the USA under Bush has gone way off beam.
He is using the threat pf terrorism as an excuse to invade countries in order to steal their wealth and resources.
Why doesn't he invade Zimbabwe and stop the genocide there ? Oh I forgot, Zimbabwe doesn't have any oil.
