nah! the humour is very much alive.......just that there are a fewer ppl to appreciate it.
I always love a good joke........because laughter has been proven to lower your blood pressure, enhance your sleep patterns, reduce your pain threshold, strengthen your immune system, combat stress, anxiety, and frustration, and bond people together as nothing else can. It has been scientifically proven that the most healing type of laughter is laughter associated with clean, wholesome humor
And heres a poem i love for u and all those reading this!!
Rainy Day Riddle
How many raindrops up in the sky
Does it take to say that it's raining?
Can it be just one? Or must there be more,
And by knowing, just what are we gaining?
The answer to this you will soon know,
And I hope that it gets you to thinking,
Cuz thinking will help your brain to grow,
And if it's not growing, it's shrinking.
If the droplets are far too many to count,
You can say that it's raining a lot,
But if you count one drop all alone,
Then it's raining in just that one spot!
Now picture a downpour so severe,
That there are countless drops to be seen
Did you know it's really not raining at all,
In all the dry spaces in between?
So here is a rainy day trick for you
To help you find all the dry places,
Look up at all the drops as they fall
And try walking in just those spaces!
Now if you were to say that this was "clever" or "cute"
Yet you feel it has no real meaning for you,
Then I'd say it's a way of looking at things
That can help you the whole day through.
For when your days are drizzling the doldrums
And seem dark and dreary from showers of strife,
When you just can't find your way out of the storm
You gotta dance between the raindrops through life

People need to laugh more, in this day and age everything is taken too seriously. They say that laughter is the best medicine and I agree. Don't you feel so much better after you have had a laugh. So with that in mind, here's a couple of jokes for you:
An old man is driving down the motorway when his mobile phone rings. Answering it he hears his wife's voice...
'Albert,' she says, 'Please be careful when you're driving back. I just heard on the radio that there's some maniac on the M1 motorway. He's driving the wrong way!'
'Its not just one,' Albert replies, 'There's f*cking hundreds of them!!'
A blonde was standing in front of a coke machine
she put in 50 cents and a coke came out. She set
it on top of the coke machine. Put in 50 more
cents pushed the button and another coke came
out.
She kept doing this untill a guy standing behind
her said, " Excuse me, can I get my coke and then
you can go back to whatever you are doing?"
The blonde turns around and says, "Like duh not
when I am winning!! "

I think you have a point but its up to the individual to keep themselves hapy, every morning wen I wake my children come in and we have laughter before scholl, during theday I make a point of making people laugh in work, I have always been a bit a bit of a clown but how boring would life be if no one laughed anymore, I feel sorry for those that hae nothing to smile about for various reason.... me? well.... I laugh so hard that a tiny bit of wee wee comes out sometimes, and I wouldnt change myself for the world!!

Just like beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, humour lies in the mind of the listener. One has to feel free to let ones heart and soul peal into laughter. Humour is not gone. If you feel soit has, then crack jokes in the right kind of company, you will find people finding them funny enough to roll into laughter fits.

Me and the chap I work with laugh all the time, walking into offices and call centres gets us some strange looks (we fit fire alarms), being cheery is frowned upon literally in the work place these days. The more miserable they get the more we go on, i think its a defence mechanism to prevent us getting sucked into their grey porridge.
Happy days!
