I installed Fedora Core-5 Linux after installing Windows XP...I set grub loader options as Win Xp as default.....and then after restarting only XP boots .....there is no Linux shown anywhere.......I did set grub loader option as default Linux also....it didnt work......what to do????

If you have two harddrives in your pc and windows is on one and Fedorea on the other try going into the bios and change the harddrive boot order.
I am not sure if you actually booted into Fedora successfully so the above is the best thing to try. Otherwise just install FedoraCore 5 again and on the grub setup set it up to write an entry to the MBR of the first bootable harddrive,. I think maybe that is where you went wrong.

Hi,
first boot using rescue cd .and then run grub-install /dev/hda1 or(where ever linux / is loaded) .It shoudl override the MBR.
