I don't know who the "happiest" people in the world are, per se(besides people who have just won large sums of money in the lottery), but I can tell you who I think are the most calm, tranquil people in the world....monks.

from this i remember one story =
once there was a king who was very unhappy. he looked everywhere for happiness but could not find it. being fed up with it he asked his men to find a man who is the happiest in the world. they went to rich merchants house but he was not happy cause he was always worried about his money. so in this way they went to a ashram(holy place). there they saw a sadhu(holy man0 and they found them to be very happy and contented so he was brought before the king. the king asked - 'how d u keep happy holy man?' the man said that i have nothing to worry about. i have whatever i need. i don't have any health nor I'm poor but have enough for me. the king was very surprised and thanked the old man.
so i think that the person happiest in the world is one who is happy and contended with hat he have.

i guess the most happiest person on this earth is the one who is satisfied in all wat he or she hv.who beleive in god n enjoy everymoment of his or her life .and hv every gud quality in her or him.but i m sure in todays world no one is happy so abt happiest is out of our world of imazination.so NEVERMIND n enjoy !!!
