Ive been working in an hairdressers for 2 years now.try not to get your hair coloured to much or bleached as this will make your hair very dry.try to avoid shampoos like pantene and loreal elvive as these shampoos put a silicone coating on your hair to make it feel soft but they dont actually do out to the inside of your hair try using kerastas or clynol and try taking hair skin and nail tablets from Holland and Barret and go for regular trims every 6-8 weeks
hp this helps

I don't know about your hair, but my hair takes a lot of conditioner to make it lovely. I like to swap between Dove and Pantene.

For you, I would say to regularly shampoo and condition. When it's dry, style it with gel and other products. Just make sure that the gel doesn't build up.
