here's a thought....what if far out in the universe, planet X sends word to planet Y stating they want war and rights to the planet.
planet Y is a geeky community and they are afraid...using their super intelligence they use some DNA from themselves and start sculpting it to create ultimate warriors....muscular, aggressive, and not able to think for themselves just follow orders and fight fight fight.
the experiment went well but the race was thinking for themselves , fighting each other and didn't follow the orders well.
afraid for their own safety planet y decides it's best to remove the new creatures. but they don't want to kill them, they are curious about this new race....so they search the universe for a safe galaxy with a livable planet.

there have been UFO sightings...studying and watching their race evolve?
there have been claims of being abducted and medically examined....hmmmmmm
we are aggressive, we are prone to fight , pain and injury is comical to some...
some very intelligent people got this knowledge from where? pulled it out of a hat...one day rubbing sticks together the next flying to mars with dvd players

it's just a thought....one that crept in my head while i was zoned out smoking a little grass ;-)

I'm sort of Agnostic, so when I do think about where we came from I do ponder the possibility that we weren't made by any God. The whole God/existence thing is weird. If existence exists (and obviously it does) then what caused it to happen? If it was a cosmic "goof" (for lack of a better word) then why would it have occurred in just the right way for the universe to develop in the way that it did? If you assume that there was some sort of creator, then who created the creator? Did the creator create themselves? If so, then why does the creator even exist? Another cosmic "goof"? I think very deeply about such things, which is probably the main reason that I don't know if there is a God or not.

If you think deeply about it you could never believe that we could be here without a God. The thought of this whole universe forming out of absolutely nothing leaves my mind totally beyond conprehension.

don't pay any attention to any hecklers on hear. prospectively i look at the science of everything. although there are many ideas. the facts are the earth was formed from super heated mass ejections when the sun was forming. the sun was created from gasses hydrogen and helium. the evidence shows we have evolved. different religions state we were created. i leave you with this I'm a man of science. i believe in facts.

The question is loaded with assumptions.

Why does there have to be a 'why'?

Do dogs know why they are here?

How about gnats?

I think that why or how we are here is not important at all. We are here and we should just be...but be good to ourselves and each other.
