Are you the official Smiter of God? Did HE give you the authority to carry out His judgment? Who is going to smite you when you disobey His command?

That is why Jesus never told anyone to judge anyone else. Judgement is God's job. We can only see things through our own perspective, but God sees from all perspectives; He sees the truth. If you can't see the Truth as God does, you don't know if what a person did was good or evil.

Besides, Jesus healed people on the Sabbath. And his apostled picked grain on the Sabbath. Not everything that breaks the law is bad.

God warns us that many people will come "in my Name", but that not all of them will be good. So doing something "in God's Name" does not mean that you're doing the right thing.

The only person you can judge is yourself. (And some people are pretty bad at that, too). If you do what you know is right, you have done good. If you do what you know is wrong, you have sinned. How do you know if that person believed that working on the Sabbath was right or wrong? Remember, Jesus preferred honest sinners to dishonest religous people.

Controversy has occured over what is considered work on the Sabbath as well as what is and isn't allowed.

When Jesus healed on The Sabbath and the Phariasees got upset about it, Jesus raised some points such as when one would gather Water for their Animals on the Sabbath.

In my opening opening and closing a Window on the Sabbath is not a Violation of the Sabbath at all, such an issue was discussed in a class at my Church before including that an issue occured in Israel over if flipping a switch to open or close a Window would be a Violation of The Sabbath.

Depends, Did you smite him on the Sabbath? Because that would be like work and I may have to pay you "a little visit".
