Everyone loves a big healthy baby. You are feeding her well and she has all the rolls and lumps babies should have. Everyone loves my sons pudgy legs (and have for the past 2 years when he was born). Don't worry about the comments and the are probably not intending that your baby is fat but healthy. And at 18 months it is normal to be more than double their original weight.
You have a cute healthy baby. Listen to your doctor on weight and height concerns...they usually keep track and chart everything.

Getting a clean puppy at the same time as you've a toddler would nicely be time ingesting or perhaps confusing. yet in case you imagine you could take on the responsibility of a clean puppy, rabbit, with a toddler then bypass for IT! sturdy success :o)

Don't worry about it so much, people watched to much talk show,
if your baby is healthy don't give it a second thought,
My 2 yr old was born 2 wk premature,
one of my sister-in-laws kids was bor right on time,
My daughter was very petite and little she didn't even fit her skin all the way
He quickly gained the nickname Beefcake,
now that their both 2 their almost exactly the same size with the boy barely an inch taller,
Just love em anyway
good luck and God Bless

People think they have a right to comment on other people's children for some reason. It will be happening all of your life as a parent. No matter what the issue is, everybody's got to have their say about a child. I don't know why that is. Don't worry about it. Better to have a big child than a poor skinny wee thing. So long as she's not unhealthy.

I'd ask the doctor about it if it continues to worry you. If the doctor says she's fine, then I'd tell anyone who says she's too big that she's fine according to her doc.
Anyway, once she gets to crawling and walking, that extra bit will level off, and you'll long for the days were she just sat there!!
Good luck with the kid!

They are just nosy gits! leave it be, don't think on it! 18 pounds is a good weight for a 6 month old! Talk to her doctor about any concerns you have of this nature, really that's your best bet for a consequential answer. as long as she is healthy, and eating what she is supposed to be eating, don't even worry!

it is a little heavy.but it depends on what you feed her.if you breastfeed her make sure not to overfeed her.not more than every 4 hours.and two other meals like cornflower.but watch the amounts.now its cute but later its much harder to make her not gaining so much more.you don't do her a favor with overfeeding her.often chubby babies tend to become chubby kids and later chubby grownups.if you ever tried to loose weight you know how hard it is.so keep her meals nutrious and spend more time on playing with her.good luck.is she tall ,too?

No there is nothing wrong with a baby that is big, she will lose all the baby fat when she learns how to walk. My youngest daughter was like that and when she started walking she lost all the baby fat.

I dont think so! I have a four and half month old he weights, 14.3lbs... and he was only 25% for his age and 75% for height, at 25 inches long. so it depends on height weight average, if your baby is to big your ped. will let you know
