It's legal. In California, minors (people under 18 years old) have the right to obtain birth control services, prenatal care, sexually transmitted infection/HIV services and abortion without parental notification or permission.

Just to clarify two things:
Abortion IS legal in the State of California.
And RU486 is NOT available over the counter. People are constantly confusing it with Plan B, which is "the morning-after pill."
Plan B is just a differently dosed and differently packaged birth control pill. It acts to make sure that if you HAD ovulated, the egg will not implant itself in your uterus.
RU486 is a different drug altogether, and can only be used under a doctor's supervision.

Why are you asking about a medical technique that has been felony because that 1973 ? once you do not have any coverage you bypass to planned Parenthood they take donations. or you bypass to a womens health facility and pay money. you want an ob-gyn and also you could also bypass to a community health facility to ascertain a medical specialist first. They charge decrease than a private medical specialist. a minimum of you wont could go away the country to have it performed.
