Of course, your question 'do you still think I am in the wrong group' will raise the ire of those whose belief systems are more rigid and dogmatic than your own. If this religion suits you, who am I to tell you that there is something better somewhere else? So, go on, surprise us then..... you're a Hindu following the Smarta tradition. Am I right? The only thing you have not mentioned is reincarnation, but that would have given it away.

According to Jesus, there is only one way to heaven. You can respect other religions all day, and ensure that those people go to hell. Satan doesn't care if you believe in him or not. As long as he takes you away from Christ, then he wins.
This is why Christians are so intolerant of any other religion. We don't want you going to hell in the name of tolerance. Tolerance is not worth your soul.
If you were standing in a street and didn't know there was a truck bearing down on you, would you want someone to let you believe whatever you want and then be hit by the truck and die? Or would you prefer someone told you the truth that a truck was coming and that you should get out of the road and live?

Buddhism is more a form of philosophy than a religion as the Buddha said that whether or not there really is a God is irrelevant to his teachings. The point of Buddhism is to lead a good, rewarding life, free of suffering brought about by clinging to material cravings and goods. Buddhism can be practiced even by Christians or other monotheists as it doesn't ask for you to worship anything or to violate any of the dictates of these theologies. In fact, it pretty much supports the ten commandments and other edicts of the monotheists. To more widely address your question (can you convert to any religion), the answer is "No." Some religions assert that you enter their population via birth and cannot technically "convert" because you're not a member of the required population. Examples of this are orthodox Judaism (your mother needs to be a direct descendent of one of the tribes of Israel) and strict Amish faith (they do not accept "outsiders" into their communities and shun the world outside of that community).

Your religion tells you to find the connection with spirituality in all aspects, however, if someone is atheists then he has no connection with spirituality and thus they are ignorant - what's the great conundrum here?
Your religion obviously is some man-made mish-mash which only has some awe/respect towards God but doesn't fully believe in God's ability to provide for all your needs otherwise why would you need to pursue any other endeavours e.g. science?
If your religious books don't contain the truth and you have to question them then this should be proof enough for you that it is just some man-made mish-mas and not a true religion.
God does love all his creation, however, God will be more partial to those who are obedient and respectful towards him rather than those who ignore or disrespect him. God can't force himself onto those who blatantly choose to ignore him and therefore his love will not manifest fully to those.
Is this ample proof for you to start looking elsewhere other than your half-baked mumbo-jumbo?

Salvation is only through Faith in Jesus Christ.
He created the earth, and I have a great respect for nature.
I respect other cultures and faiths, I still question my religion and research other religions. But it builds my faith and makes it stronger because I know that Jesus is the Son of God and the Bible is the truth.

You cannot convert to my "religion" because I have no religious affiliation. I am a part of God who is a part of all of us. He is not small enough to fit into one building, one faith, one doctrine... He is not so big... even the smallest child can reach and touch Him. The least loved of us, the homely, the homeless, the hungry, the drunkard, the heroin addict, and even, from time to time, the politician can find Him. He may be the only one who still cares, who reaches us when no one else is willing to even 'see' us for we are invisible... the aged, the fat, the crippled... Mainstream religion meet at regimented times, follow defined rules of worshiping a god that fits within the confines of their buildings... But, He is here for us all in every circumstance.
You do not have to convert to my "religion" because I haven't one.

If you don't believe that you are a sinner and that the only way to get to heaven is through Jesus, then you won't be going to heaven. I really don't know what religion this is but no religion's believe that all people are going to heaven without some sort of requirement to get there. Its up to you to convert. But thats what I believe in my religion.
Its funny that jameel j brings up capital punishment for rape in their country. he conviently left out the part where if the rapist proposes to the rape victim, they are set free. Also, if the woman rejects the proposal she is convicted of adultery, and is stoned to death. So if you want to live in a country like that, then go ahead.

Are you in a group? Such an enlightened religion is usually one that is self made. I think you are doing great - totally spot on. Why should you change? I will only change when I find there is something a miss with my theory - but then I will only modify my theory and move on, not change my religion. Why should you be any different, right?

God has created us for the purpose of His worship and also as His representative on earth. He is our Creator and He has accompanied us with insruction manual; His Holy Books, the last and most current being The Holy Quran.
I'm afraid, if you do not follow Him according to what He wants , you may still be making a mistake, be sincere to yourself, examine every premise openly, your hereafter is too important for you to base it on some silly set of rules made up by ignorant you.
