I suggest doing what you want without the opinions or influences of other people getting in your way. "basically make up your own mind and be yourself". However in most cases sucides are more cowardly then courageous and i would not do it. But thats just my opinion. (somewhat of a brain twister huh?)

First tell us why you would want to? But generally speaking life is so precious that you don't even have the RIGHT to take your own life let alone anyone elses! Just think for a moment, as far as we know we are probably the only planet in our galaxy which sustains life! Can you think about that for a moment.
If we are alone, I am sure there is a reason, a purpose, so I would suggest you value your life and get on with it. If you have problems in your life, I would suggest you go and help someone who is in a worse situation than yourself, perhaps start with cancer patients, old and dying people, paraplegics, the list is endless. My point is once you start putting your life to better you use, you will realise how important it is to live, how wonderful it is to be alive today and look at the sun shine and the trees and birds and listen to music.... just think about it.

I would stop you because suicide is a mortal sin. I know you don't want your final resting place to be hell. It sounds to me that you have some form of depression..and you really need to see someone who will throughly and accurately diagnose your situation. I know, I've been there and I am still going through it. Speak with someone who will listen, and will evaluate you and give you the medical attention you need. One bit of advice though, if medication is an alternative, be sure it's the right one. Don't allow these doctord or therapists fill you with these different drugs and tell you they will make you feel better.A life change is someting else you might want to consider along with the therapy. I wish you the best Rosebud

You could possibly recover from whatever it was that was compelling you towards suicide such as mental illness. If you continued your life you could be of assistance to others and you would possibly learn to enjoy your own life. As for stopping you it would be almost impossible if you seriously wanted to kill yourself. The best way to deal with a suicidal person would be to lure them to a doctor to be committed to a psychiatric facility and if that didn't work calling the police would be beneficial. I personally don't think a person that is mentally ill can commit suicide since part of their disease has a likely outcome of self inflicted death. To me suicide would only exist when a person killed themself to avoid capture and punishment for breaking the law. If you are considering this at this time it is highly likely that you are depressed and if you are capable of still making a rational choice you should seek medical help immediately before this progresses.

Because you are a unique person and there is no one else out there like you. You matter or you wouldn't be here. If there was one chance in hell that I could stop you I would do whatever I could to stop you. I would then shelter you and get help for you so you would understand that it is a chemical imbalance speaking to you...not you. Depression makes suicide look like a reasonable solution. When the depression is confronted, and people feel better they can't imagine feeling suicidal.
Can I get you help?

People who want to kill themselves suffer from the illness called Major Depression which can be effectively treated. The problem is caused by too low of levels of neurochemicals such as serotonin and norepinephrine. We don't like to think that some of our attitudes and thoughts are caused by levels of chemicals in our brain but that's the way it is.
I have worked in that area and have seen it hundreds of times where a person wanted to die, felt overwhelmed by problems, and could not see anyway out except death. Then, they were started on an antidepressant, and after the medication started to work ( it sometimes takes 2 to 4 weeks), they no longer wanted to kill themselves, enjoyed being alive, and did not see their problems as more than they could deal with.
So, why allow a person to kill themselves, when, they don't REALLY WANT to kill themselves but only THINK they do because some silly chemical levels are low in their brains, and that can be brought back to normal by taking a pill?

suicide is never an option. you deserve to live and you deserve help from caring people. you do not mention why you would want to do it. when a person is serious about suicide, they cannot be talked out of it and do go through with their plan. most people want to be stopped or just attention seeking. but, a lot of suicidal people are serious. they believe truly that they are undeserving of love and the time of others. some people commit suicide for medical reasons as well. but, everyone deserves to be saved and i would gladly give any amount of time to spend with a suicidal person if it saved his/her life. your life is priceless and people just need someone to show that they care.

You obviously want to be here because you gathered up enough strength to get up and get on the computer so we could all show you attention.
You were put on the Earth for a reason, for a purpose.
You will have a story to tell one day and if you kill yourself you'll never know what you'll accomplish or what you'll mean to someone.

First, I would like to know why did you do the first time? Secondly, I would stop you because your life is precious and you are beautiful person and maybe this hasn't been told you enough and that whatever is going on in your life or whatever has happened to you can be overcome. You should really talk to someone you trust. Life can be beautiful once the gloom has passed over. :)

Sounds to me that you need a reason to live. You've been looking in the wrong places and probably trying all the wrong things. After you're done with the thing that leave you empty and you're willing to give life one more chance, try Jesus. I know that it sounds redundant but God really does love you, and he really can and wants to give you a new life. Just give him a chance to take all of the guilt away and replace it with joy and a true peace that only God can give. I'm not talking religion, I'm talking Jesus.

I'll just say this:
There are so many things left for you to do in life. Aren't there things you want to accomplish before you die?
Whenever I'm feeling depressed I make a list of things I need to do first. You could try that.
