Hey, guess what. You're not suppose to inflict pain on yourself. That means you have a problem and trained professionals need to find out why.
If I came to your house and cut you up, I would go to jail because that isn't right. Something is wrong with you if you're doing it to yourself. It isn't very uncommon, as a matter of fact.
It's probibly over you not being able to control the things in your life.

I remember the horrible fear of being put in the hospital. I've been hospitalized several times, never "just" for cutting, but always for either trying to kill myself or saying I couldn't keep myself safe. It seems surprising to me that your therapist would want to hospitalize you "just" for cutting - I guess if your cuts were very deep that would make sense, but it shocks me that she would hospitalize you for cutting in the past. It would seem to me that if you had cut the day before, but were not at risk of hurting yourself now, then it would make no sense to put you in the hospital. My therapists would only ever bring up the hospital as a last resort, if I didn't think I could keep myself safe or if they didn't think I could. It sounds like you need to find a new therapist, one that you can be honest with, but who isn't going to put you in the hospital for something you did in the past.

Yes, there is a reason why you are hurting yourself and she is the person responsible to help you stop. She is putting you in the hospital for a good reason, trust her and call her and tell her the truth otherwise how will you get better and live life to the fullest.

by all means call her!!! she's there to help you!!! it sounds like you are having alot of things going on i'm not a doctor but it sounds like you are very depressed and you need the inpatient treatment. I would not worry about the result of being put in the hospital for cutting i would worry more about not getting the proper treatment that it sounds like you desperatly need. get off the computer and call her you are doing yourself a favor by doing this. touch base and let us know how you are doing!!!

I know its hard but the 1st ppl to tell is your parents.Mite be hard but if they love you they will help. If they are the reason you are "cutting" then tell the "psych" or a teacher in your school whats going on. Don't keep it inside, that will just make it worse

Hey, I wish you would e-mail me. I have had some problems myself but not with cutting. Maybe I could help you. I don't know, it's your call. You sound like you are really young and I just don't want to see you throw your life down the toilet, ok?

she will most likely not get into trouble; you lied to her. she believed you and that is not going to get her into trouble. you should go into treatment to help you learn what triggers your cutting and how to control it somewhat. a lot of people cut because it's the only thing they can control in their lives. cutters cut to feel like they are in control. cutters cut to dull the pain of something more painful that happened to them. if you feel that you are in danger from yourself, go to the nearest emergency room and they will call a mental health professional to evaluate you. or you can call a crisis line to get help. if you don't want to do these things, then fess up to your lies at your next appointment. always be truthful and honest with your therapists. if you aren't, they can't help you or give your proper advice or treatment.

make sure you leave a nice design. It'll be there a while.
Ever thought of getting into tattoos? Kind of prettier...
