I have not been living in Egypt long, but from what I have seen so far, the Christians have more rights then Muslims here. They live and work here just fine.

They have churches here, not a whole lot, but the Christian population is not big enough to need a whole lot.

They are easy to pick out because they do something to show they are Christian. Most of them wear crosses. And if they own a shop they put Jesus(they say Isa here) picture, Marys(they say Maryam here) picture, a cross or something like that up. I have been in taxi and seen crosses hanging off there mirrors. They want you to know they are Christian. Sometimes I feel they think they are better then Muslims.

And like I said above they use Arabic when talking about Jesus and Mary. And they DO say Allah when talking about God.

They are true Christians: I have actually talked with several Coptic Christians: They believe just as all Christians believe that Jesus is the flesh and blood son of God,who died on the cross for the redemption of the sins of all mankind: They respect women, and consider them to be equals. They are very kind caring, and compassionate people. Every day they are persecuted by the Muslims, just because they choose to be Christians, and not Muslims; Here is a web site link, that will tell you more about the Coptic Christians:
