There are a few recipes that i have to share. One, a peanut butter oatmeal and optional chocolate chip cookies. Two, get some gummi bears or worms, ice cube trays, and some jello (any flavor). Fix the jello as the box says and then put a little bit of jello in each cube space, let chill. Put a bear or worm in middle and fill the rest with jello.... its better to make different color so you can make it pretty and creative for an afternoon snack. And last but not least Three, a fruit smoothie is good and healthy for kids. The only problem might be the blender which you or another adult needs to handle, but it will be interesting for the kids to see the fruit, sugar, and ice blend together.

Emeril and Rachel Ray both have cookbooks out for kids. The one by Emeril is called "there's a chef in my soup". You can find them at any bookstore.
