Does anyone else feel the same?

I did at one point in my life. Things totally went down the sh*tter for me. I got to thinking about everyone I knew who was happily married or in long term relationships and wonder why I couldn't have that too. I married a total *sshole, and got divorced. Everyone would tell me to keep my chin up, and Mr. Right would come along. I stopped looking for Mr. Right and started settling for Mr. Right Now. I was afraid to commit because of my six month long marriage, and thought if I let other people in, it would turn out the same. I met someone online and started opening up to him. We were best friends for the longest time. He kept asking me to visit him, and I'd turn him down...he'd try to make plans to visit me, and I'd turn him down. One day he just showed up at my door. We've been together since. I did get married again, and this time I don't regret it. So although it seems like love is passing you by, the moment you stop looking for it is when it comes and slaps you in the forehead. You need to open yourself up to people, and not be afraid of what may happen. Don't ever let yourself settle for less than what you're searching for, because you'll never be happy, and you'll never find love. I found mine unexpectedly, and I hope you do too. Best of wishes and good luck to you :D.

Don't listen to these insensitive asses, I know exactly how you feel. If you are young, don't worry, you will find someone. Maybe you are feeling pensive and with that may come a feeling of fleeting melancholy. If you are not so young, hey, you can still find that person. I thought I would never find the right guy but I finally did. He is awesome too. Chin up!
