I have 2 cats. Toby is afraid of everything it seems like, while Max has to explore everything. They're almost polar opposites, it's funny. When I bring home groceries Max will practically crawl inside the bags to see what's in them. When I get out a bag to clean out the litter box, I shake it out and Toby goes running! They're both afraid of the flash of cameras too.

One of mine was afraid of flea powder. I used this to my advantage though and put some on everything I didn't want it to scratch.

Currently I have one cat that is afraid of being brushed. My other cat loves it. The one that hates it goes outside year-round but the other one will not go outside in winter which is from about November until April.

One of mine is afraid of the kids and the cat carrier. She hides from the kids and runs under any bed if she even gets a glimpse of a carrier.

Another is afraid of the vacuum.

He runs away when the vacuum cleaner is turned on but doesn't hide. And when the doorbell rings, he runs all the way up to the third floor to hide behind the toilet, and if the closet door is open, he slips in there and hides behind blankets.

When Lily sees me wheeling the Vacuum, she runs in the other direction!
She also doesn't like sudden loud noises like someone knocking at the door.
She doesn't seem to like the stereo either as we have it on the floor- she always gives it evils as she goes by!!

I just got a 6 weeks old puppy and you would think I brought home a spawn from heII. My cats are ready to move out. They are scared to death of a puppy that's not half their size.

Mine is afraid of sinks, bathtubs, and showers if she's carried to them because she knows she's about to get a bath. But she has no problem walking up to them by herself just after someone is done using them.
