Read Matthew chapters 5,6, and 7. Follow Christs example is the way to know Him!

Mumbling some words and saying that Jesus is savior will not save anybody. Only doing God's Will will save you and you will enter heaven.

Mat 7:21!

Before diving in head first, I would suggest the person start reading from the begining of the book, that is - Genesis.
Also, not to accept at face value what christian teach since they do not understand Jews or Jewish culture.
And if the person is truly serious, then ask God and wait till God sends a messenger to teach.

The first thing I would tell them is that they are already saved and their is nothing they can do to change that. It is from the idea of guilt from sin that we need to be saved from.

The law has been fulfilled and no one should be going around trying to follow even one to be closer to God. That is self righteous.

You are inseperable from God. He is experiencing this life through you. You are powerful and blessed and can accomplish and create anything. It is Jesus' spirit in you that gives you the freedom - your thoughts can create.

God is love, not fear.

Nothing.

Before you open you mouth, read the Gospel of John about believer and non believer. Read it very carefully.

If you can not show someone Christ (Christ in you!) by your life style, your words will mean nothing.

Remember God (not man) brings people to Christ Jesus.

You cannot talk someone into the kingdom of heaven. The Holy Spirit must first lead them. Simply explain to them how to pray and truly seek repentance then let God do all the work.

the Bible is the true Word of God, Read,, just as you seek to know people around you- so there words tell you who they are.
You may fly a kite and have it go up high and hid by the clouds, but you feel a tug and know it is there. Pray and seek Him

Don't ask a christian.

No offence, but most appear to be obsessed with cutting and pasting as many Bible quotes as they can, not on understanding anything about the words of Jesus or their meaning.

My opinion would be different is Christians on the web weren't so obsessed with quoting the Bible without understanding a word of it.

There's a lot to be covered and there's so much to be learned. No need to rush and try to know everything all at once.

It's always best to start from the beginning... like building a bridge: pick up one stone at a time.

Peace be with you!
