What if Russians are more rational?

First, not all Americans dislike Russians. I am American and have liked the Russians I have known and find their culture and history very interesting.
The reason a great many Americans do not like Russians is that for about half of a century the citizens here were fed propaganda about Russia much the same as we are today with Iraqis. It is interesting to note how well the timing of our conflict with Iraq meets with the break-up of the CCCP and all the troops we no longer needed in Germany when The Wall came down. Not that our government would ever do something like get into conflicts that costs so many lives just so defense contractors could sell more arms... but hypothetically if we did have a government that used false reasons to go to war, they likely would have done something just like that at about the same time..

Who says Americans don't like Russians. The people of Russia (Russians) are just fine by me, most of them are good people, of course like any other culture there are some bad seeds, but don't let that be confused with not liking Russians in general. Americans and the old Soviet Republic didn't get along, but that was a difference in political views, it had nothing to do with the citizens of Russia.

I'm a Russian American. I haven't met anyone who didn't like me because I'm Russian.
And the people you speak of are probably just intimidated. Russians are an intimidating bunch.
Why Russians (and all other non-English speaking nationality) don't like Americans is a whole different story.

I'm another American who has never had a problem with Russians. ...and I honestly don't know anyone who does. I like them just fine. What makes you think otherwise?

russinas are cool, they just need to be put in there place once and a while so they dont hink tat they are better.
