I'm 17 and I have gone through several girlfriends in the past few months. None of them have been horrible or butt ugly or anything like that. The relationships were good while they lasted, its just that none of them lasted very long. They all just complain that I work too much. After a few months, you begin to get discouraged. I've shunned off all social live for the past month or so and. What should I do? Do I continue to look and get dumped a week or so later or just give up? HELP PLEASE!!! SERIOUS RESPONSES WANTED!

My advice would be: don't worry about having a girlfriend for a while. Work, go to school; you're still very young. Also, you don't have to have make a girl your interested your girlfriend in order to decide if you are serious about spending your life with them. In fact, when couples begin dating they usually put on a facade, and stay on their best behavior so you can't see who they really are. I have learned that just by hanging out with a group of people, you can learn alot about who the person your interested in really is. Hope this helps. I'm a 23 year-old female, and most of the time, I love being single. Enjoy the freedom while you're young! God bless :)

Don't give up your only 17, you'll find someone its just not something that happens in a couple of weeks, you have become discouraged because of how quickly your relationships end but if you take the time not to keep rushing into the relationships eventually you'll find someone who doesn't mind how much you work or what ever else...also try not to shun off your social life, once you've done that you'll regret it and it'll make you want to give up for sure

Dude, women are NEVER happy. Either you work too much or they complain that you don't have enough money. They want a man in uniform then they don't want you to go fight the in the war. They want it both ways and as men we know life isn't that way. Women hate anything that takes your attention away from them. Any hobbies, other friends, porn, your job, your car ( if you work on it a lot) are all threatening to a woman's ego. Don't worry. When you have enough money and other stuff, they will stay and won't complain (as much) because they'll be enjoying your stuff when you're not around. Of course you might get lucky and find an exception to this but you have to be really lucky to find that rare jewel. Keep at it. You have to play to win. You WILL find her one day.

Play the field. I mean, you're 17, what do you want to get serious for? Go into each new date knowing it's not going to last, have fun and move on.

don't give up, eventually you will find some one who doesn't have an issue with your work schedule. don't take dating too seriously yet anyway. meet people and see what kind of mate you want. it will save a hassle later.

by the way, it is nice to hear about a teenager who works hard. most i know still mooch off their parents.

You are at an age at which one cannot get into a serious and stable relationship for long. see the fact is that during teenage, one is not matured enough to dedicate oneself for a long commitment to someone. peopl soon grow tired of each other and drift apart as newer relationshipes emerge.as u grow older u will find yourself getting into more stable and fullfilling relationships so untill then please wait.
