God is everything. The devil is not an entity as many believe it to be. The devil is the carnal mind that is excessively attracted to the external world (maya).

In other words, the devil is your lower nature that is making you think that this new BMW will make you happy, or if you could just get that job then you would be loaded with money and then....

The world is a finite place. Whatever you see, get, have, etc is finite. However, inside of you is a longing for infinite satisfaction. This longing cannot be quenched with definite stuff. After you've had that car for a while it looses its glamour and your mind starts to look for other stuff that can satisfy your need for infinite satisfaction.

Let's start with basics: God is spirit. He is in heaven (or better yet heaven is where God is). Earth is where man is.

So what do we know about the Devil? Is he in heaven? No. So he must be on earth.

At this point, we know that God and the Devil coexist. I could cite the various New Testament verses, but a simple word studies should give you that.

I dont believe in the Devil. But I believe in the energies of good and evil. The two must exist! There must be light/dark....good/bad.....empty/full.....It is the balance in the universe.
Without one....there cannot be the other. Tis the balance!

Well, as far as making things up goes, I'm glad I'm not the guy who came up with life springing from non-life, but, scripturally, yes, of course they do. This only presents logical problems if you attribute the same level of power and significance to both. The devil is a mere creature who used his free will to corrupt first himself, then countless others.

Yes.

God is the part of you that is spirit. Grace, unconditional love. Devil actually is the part of us that is tempted to follow law to gain favor with God, to prove that we are good and spiritual. This is what Paul referred to as the lusts of the flesh.

Look what the devil tempted Jesus with. It wasn't sinful acts. It was to prove who He was. Jesus knew He didn't have to prove it. And neither should we. We are inseperable from God. It is more like He is experiencing this life through us.

For sure, we'd have nothing to debate and mull over if it was all or nothing. Choices are the spice of life. After all, it's been the sameo, sameo since the big banger..and when one wins, the fight is over. They must enjoy the co-existence.

Yeah, side of two coins.
You have to decide whom who allow to WIN.

I had come across a beautiful short story, go ahead read it :

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle
that was going inside himself.
He said, " My son, it is between 2 wolves. One is evil: Anger,
envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance,self-pity,guilt,
resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego.
The other is good: Joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility,
kindness,benevolence,empathy, generosity, truty, compassion
and faith...."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his
grandfather, " Which wolf wins?"
The old cherokee simply replied, "The one I feed."
