I asked this question because I am at my cousin's house in castaic, ca and her name is Alex and my name is Laura so we thought we would see what people thought.

I like Alex, because you can never tell if its a girl or a boy. Laura is too common.

i personally would go with Alexis for a girl and Alex if it's aboy. And Lauren instead of Laura.,but they r your personal pics for a name and i will respect that so i would choose Laura

I don't really care for either, but Laura is the better of the two, because children shouldn't get a gender-neutral name.
