because i am going out with someone that i really love, and i promised her that i will not hurt, hit, yell at her and i haven't. then i told her that i will not get into a fight with her because i love her too much.

I think you sound like one hell of a guy. It's absolutely wonderful that you told her all those things, and she should appreciate it. You have to remember though....almost every relationship has some problems eventually. It sounds like you'd never want to hurt her in any way, but to say you'll never fight my be pushing it a little too far. There is no guarantee that something, someday, might upset either one of you and the fighting will start, although it seems like you are truly in love, and I'm sure the two of you would work it all out.

It's great that you promised her all that, but when you say 'get into a fight with her' do you mean physically fight, or verbally fight with her like during a disagreement or something.. Because you should fight (verbally) over things, I believe because you'll know her a lot better after that, then you can have makeup sex!!!

Yes. You simply cannot make promises like that...you will fight eventually, even if it is just a spat. And if you ever break up, you will end up hurting her. Women are very literal, be careful of what you say.

Yes. Woman do not like men who have no back bone. You dont have to be a total buthead but don't be a door mat either. Have your opinions and have your say but do NOT physically abuse her. You have to find a balance between being the one she can count on and being the one she walks on.
It has been my experience that a man that will not argue with you has nothing to say or no real thoughts of his own. That is unattractive and will eventually get you gone. Find the balance or pack up!

You can't promise not to have an argument if you see her long enough that's going to happen. But you shouldn't have to promise not to hit her. That's not something you should do anyway.

It is sweet that you feel that way but all couples will have disagreements eventually. That's human nature. Just don't over do it too much, she may use your caring nature to her advantage.
