Master is nothing more than a term of respect for someone who is wise; anyone who can successfully motivate people, make them think and open the doors to learning is a teacher. You don't have to have a degree. Are you saying the only people you learn from are the ones with degrees?

Master is a term given and used for someone we are willing to follow and listen to. Many figures in society are called Master. In martial arts, the Master or Sensei is the trainer and the students follow his lead. Also, Master is a title we give to someone that is skilled in a specific knowledge or belief or activity. For example, welding has stages. You start off as a beginner, journeyman, skilled, and master at the end.
As for the teacher title, anyone can be a teacher. Teachers are we first think of now come with some sort of degree and teach or train in some kind of classroom environment. However, a teacher is someone who explains and shows, sometimes by example, a new trait, skill or task.
Jesus was called master because people wish to follow him while placing him as the leader. Teacher, because he taught the word of God to those willing to listen and set the example, physically and mentally, as to what is deemed right and wrong, correct and incorrect, moral and immoral.

Because Jesus' disciples believed Him to be the Messiah (God's son), they considered themselves to be under Jesus' authority because he is holy, (King of Kings & Lord of Lords). Jesus was called a teacher because he was a Jewish Rabaii (religious teacher).
