Bring something that reminds you of home with you, and when you get home sick, take it out and say "I will be home in ".
When I was in Europe, Fourth of July was the hardest. It wasn't a holiday and it wasn't anything special, except to me. I really felt like the foreigner.
There are a lot of nice things about Europe; just remember there is no place like home.

There is really no cure. I never stopped being homesick when I moved away! Make sure to take along pictures of the people/places you love the most from back home. And take along anything special or sentimental like a piece of your mom's jewelry or your boyfriend's hat, etc. Most importantly, enjoy yourself in Europe! Don't let yourself become too idle. Find things to occupy your time. The busier you are, the less time you'll have to dwell on missing home. And just think, it's an experience you'll never forget. Two months isn't that long in the broad scheme of things. Have a great time!

Make sure to stay in touch with the people that you're close to. Take simple things that remind you of home. It's always the little things that matter, so take a ring, or a locket.
Lastly, enjoy yourself. Realize what home is, but appreciate the difference in Europe. Maybe you might like it more than you expect to.

Well, I was going to say find a boyfriend, but since your going to Europe for only 2 months that's a delima. Look at it this way, it's only 2 months which will fly by like a breeze. Talk to you favorite people as much as you can (phone or online). You'll be fine.

Take some pictures of your favorite areas at home and bring some momentous as a reminder. But just think, you are going on a short adventure and soon you will be home.

Yeah. Go out and sight see and dont spend all your time looking down a bottle. The busier you are, the less time you'll think of home.

You'll find that when you return nothing will of changed. Your friends will still be hanging out at the same spots, parents will still bicker about nothing the only real changes will be on your fav soap.
