First of all, what router? Second, what do you mean by reinstall? Check the manufacturer's website. Often they will have the manual online, which will typically explain how to set the route back to default. Often no software is required -- just some networking knowledge, which typically involves setting up a PC to connect to the router using a browser using an agreed upon network (192.168.0 is not unusual).

Rather simple, just go to the website of the manufactor of the router. Serch their website for your model # and download the drivers. It's no biggie at all.
