Why would you want to stop it from doing what most cat owners wish they could train their cats to do. What could be more efficient and economical than having the cat pee down the drain. You just turn the tap on and away it goes. You don't have to constantly clean the litter box or go out and spend money on expensive litter sand. You don't have to get your hands dirty washing the litter box either. Count your blessings. You've got a gem of a cat.

you can put tin foil over the area- it will keep your kitty from walking on the area. Putting the litter box over it or moving it's food to that area after cleaning it real well may work also. Cats seldom pee where their food is. However, do not put the litter box near the food. As far as drinking out of the tap... some cats just do that. You have to break the habit.... try leaving water in a bowl near that area. If you catch your kitty just say no in a firm voice. If that does not work a spray bottle w/ water will work- just don't let kitty see you doing it and only do it when he/she is doing something bad.

i had a cat that did that and my best advice to give you is to go to petsmart, they sell a spray that animals dont like to smell. you can spray it in your sink so the cat doesnt have any desire to get near it. or you can keep the bathroom doors closed for a while, so the cat relizes that that room is off limits.

Cats hate noise. Just yell at it when it's being bad.
Now, I admit, Cat may look at you like she's thinking "What the f'uck is your problem?", but she WILL reduce the behavior that produced the yelling.

If you didn't pee in the toilet yourself, the cat probably wouldn't think to do it either.

Rub it's face in it and I would also show the cat where it needs to go, either in the catbox or outside.
