It is highly unlikely your bird has bird flu. Sneezing may mean a few things. Firstly, it may be dust in the air or high pollen. One of my birds is sensitive to dust and pollen and suffers for the summer. I have a spray which eases her. It's called Wheeze-Eeze, available from the Birdcare Company. It's quite expensive, but worth it.
It's also possible your canary has a cold. Keep an eye on her because a cold can turn serious in a bird if not monitored. If you have any reason to believe it has a cold, you should see a vet. In the meantime, keep it warm and away from any wind, A.C. etc.
Good luck.

Bird flu is much more serious than that. Make sure his cage is clean, and that he gets baths on a regular basis. They produce a lot of dander and get skin problems when they aren't bathed regularly. Spraying him with a mister or taking him into the shower (if he is tame enough) are options. Make sure you are gentle with the water and don't drown the bird. Bird's nasal passages are very sensitive and they react to lots of things. Don't use strong chemicals or paints, nail polish, hair sprays, etc, around your bird, as they are very toxic.
If you bird continues to sneeze, you should take him to the Vet. He may have a respritory infection or a cold.

No, he hasn't got the bird flu. Bird flu symtoms aren't the same in birds as they are in human beings. He's most probably sick though, so do get him to the vet as soon as you can. Also, is it chilly or windy where his cage is? It might be wise to make sure he's well shielded from the cold and wind. You wouldn't like having the wind blowing at you constantly either, would you?
Good luck!

anticipate the chook has the chook flu. maximum birds interior the U. S. do no longer. Assuming it does, the flu germ would would desire to mutate to be contagious to human beings. the prospect of an infection is incredibly small.

Try to thoroughly clean the birdcage, check for drafts (windows, air conditioning vents), and be sure the birds area is free from dust.
