you can sue anyone for anything the more important question is will you win, you would have to prove slander and show that you suffered damages, like got kicked out of the military. Remember the ultimate truth is the ultimate defense for slander.

No, but you can make her/his life a living hell.
If that person is the same sex as you, you can hit on them time and again in public and queer them out...(LOL pun intended). When you see her in McDonalds...with her friends, go over, make a scene, tell her you still love her and you always will, that you'll never forget the curves of her body...you know lay it on thick.

well in america everything is possible! so it's something like moral damage....and that ilegal, the best way to find is ask someone in the police comunity or u can search on police websites and look at different categories of laws...and u should start by searching "moral damage"
