anybody ever been stood up before? i was, yesterday. he told me he was on his way and that he'd call me as soon as he was on my street. he never showed up and he never called. we had spent that whole day laughing and joking on the phone and planning our date. and i know he's not dead because he's been on myspace today. im not mad, i just wish he would have told me the truth, instead of letting me think he really liked me and wanted to get to know me... im sorry but guys can be so immature.

oh by the way, he still hasn't gotten up the nerve to even call me yet. i havent talked to him since i hung up with him at about 6:30 thursday evening when he said he was on his way... i guess now he's afraid of being cussed out, either that or he really doesnt care at all : (

I made plans to spend Cinco De Mayo with my steady b/f, he blew me off & went out with his guy friends. He got so drunk he got thrown out of the bar & the cops were really giving him a hard time & he had to take a taxi home. I didn't get mad or say anything bitchy, but he never apologized. He ended our relationship 12 days later with an e-mail & I haven't heard from him since. We were together for 2 years. I think the whole thing about being stood up is not only rude, it's a power play or a headgame they play. It really bites. I'm sorry you have this to go through, find somebody else!

I've never been stood up like that. I've had it where me and a guy said we were gonna go see a movie on a certain day, but then we never went, but no one has ever said they were on their way and then didn't show up. I already give the guy hell if he's late so I don't know how I would react if that happened to me.
He was wrong for that and I hope you don't forgive him easily.

No, I've never been stood up, but once I invited a friend over and spent the whole night cleaning the house 'til 3AM and then she said she wasn't coming. That was 6 yrs. ago, and if you're reading this "Yeah, I'm still pissed!".

Yeah, I actually got played last Tuesday.Because i was going out with guy named Dakota and he has this friend named Justin and i liked him...and after awhile of talking he had me convinced he liked me and so we made-out. and the next day i break up with my b/f and after school i call Justin and he tells his brother to tell me he was busy.I didn't think anything of it until the next day when i was told Justin got a new G/F the day before, and now he knows i know and it's been about 2 weeks since i made out with him or i talked to him. So i agree with u guys can be immature.

Yes it was humiliating. He told me to meet him somewhere and I stood there looking so silly waiting on him and he never showed. I was soooooo mad. Later when I called him a woman answered and I figured to myself this boy either younger than me and living with his mom, or married. So I felt better that loser stood me up. He wasn't even worth my time.

I was, but then dude was slightly intoxicated when he said he admired me and wanted to go out on a dinner date.

I tried talking with him after the fact, and he said little, then avoided me altogether.

I had to look really hard to notice afterwards, but I saw the reason having to do with the ring on his finger.

It could be worse.

I had the oh-so-pathetic experience of being stood up for my junior PROM. Yup, I said it. Luckily, I've had better luck dating as an adult!

Boyz can be really dumb.
