Why is it that people misspell questions on here when there is a spell checker?

It would be more intelligible as follows.....I mean, come on people, it is immediately above the location for typing your answers. To anyone who uses this forum, please use the spell-check facility, unless you want to appear a moron.................

You see the only reason to use the spell check is to help get the message across. A few spelling errors make no real difference if the essence of the question comes across to the reader anyway. However, severe grammatical errors, or missed punctuation, (as are clearly apparent in your question), are frequently the cause of mis-communication. So before you run around finding fault with others, take a good close look at your own shortcomings... or you will assume the mantle of the moron!
And PS... I didn't use the spell check....I learned to spell when I learned English grammar.

I'll stop worrying for that. If they need a language different from English, it is up to them. They don't "want" (and that is said with all sarcasm I am able to use), it is their problem. I don't have to read their questions and/or answers. There is intelligent people who spell correctly. Their answers will normally be better. It is a good filter.

Typographical errors, slow connection, or probably they have not much time left. But personally, I think there is no such person as a moron if they can type and make errors such simple as of that Spelling.

1. To save time and effort when typing.
2. To "shortcut".
3. To be unique so that readers can easily recall and distinguish.
4. To create a NEW word since it's the "in" thang...LOL!

I personally don't want to take the time to use it. I took the time to answer and they should appreciate that whether or not I misspell words. Plus, I'm a pretty good speller anyways.
