My family are cheese cake freaks, I finnaly started making it at home. It isn't hard. Here is a basic recipe the sight I listed has more. Good luck and have fun.
Yield: 12 servings
16 oz Cream cheese
2 Eggs
1 ½ c C & H Powdered Sugar unsifted
1 ts Vanilla
2 c Dairy sour cream
1 Crumb crust (9-inch)
Soften cream cheese and beat until smooth. Add eggs, sugar and vanilla and mix thoroughly until creamy smooth. Fold in sour cream. Pour into prepared crumb crust. Bake in 250 F degree oven 30 minutes. Turn off oven. Leave cake in oven 1 to 1-1/2 hours to cool. Serve cold. Crumb Crust: Melt 1/4 cup butter in pie pan in oven. Add 1/4 cup C and H Granulated Sugar and 16 graham crackers finely crushed. Mix and press evenly over bottom and up side of pie pan. there are mamy different types of cheesecake, though the main ingredient is cream cheese, between the yogurt and the sour cream at my grocery store.--
you get the gist.
my personal (easy) favorite is to whip cream cheese, sprinkle in some lemon juice, then top it with sour cream and bake it for an hour or so.
there are mixes (instant) that only require that you add milk to, available for purchase in your grocery store.
alternatively, if you wanted to make a gourmet cheesecake, i'm sure you could google some yummy recipes.

Crust: 2 c graham crackers crumbled
4tbsp melted butter
2tbsp sugar
Mix together and pack in cake pan 9x13 chill
Filling: 1 8oz cream cheese
1 c whipping cream
1/2 c sugar
whip cream,add surgar,whip cream cheese until smooth,mix together spread over chilled crust, chill 1 to 2 hrs,top with pie filling of your choice.

Put into a premade graham cracker crust (like Keebler)
Bake in a 350 oven until it starts to crack on the top (just slighlty)
Top with favorite fruit topping
Put into refrigerator & chill overnight....Delicious
