PLEASE HELP! I need to know how to turn on my hot water after evil brother turned it off and left?

i have two knobs by outside hose, they used to work for this...and water heater has pilot turned to on, but makes no noise, and there is a little knob elsewhere by on heater attached to a hose (not like garden hose, small one on heater).

On the water heater there is a shut of value , just turn open. Let your parent know he is doing this ! And never try to light a pilot light Wait and have parents do it .You could get hurt or killed by the gas .Also next time don't react when he does things like this , a bath can be taken later .He is probably getting a laugh don't give him a reason to do it again by becoming upset .Just say is that really suppose to bother me ? Grow up , then laugh at him ! Go by grandparents if you can , or a family members home , or a friend or just wait for a parent .If you get upset he will keep doing what ever he seen upsets you .Hope your mom / dad someone tries to take a bath before he remembers to turn it on .Then they will deal with him ! 1st take off the cover where the gas line hose goes in to the pilot light. next turn the red knob on the valve to the word pilot. Next light a match and put the lit match inside the hole to where the pilot flame is (about a foot) while simultainiously pushing down the pilot light or red knob. This should let gas run down the pipe to ignight the flame. When the flame lights, hold down for about ten seconds then let off. The flame should stay on. (repeat above if it doesn't and hold red knob down longer) When pilot light stays on, simply turn knob to the on position and wallaaa... your heater will light and heat water!

I agree with the guy that said you need to relight your hot water heater pilot. If you don't feel equipped to handle it yourself, call your local power company. They will probably do it for free, although I don't know how late they will come out. Otherwise you can call a plumbing service that works at night, but they will probably charge you a ton. If you just need to rinse right away you can always heat pots of water on the stove to make a bath. Good Luck!

i don't believe of shouting and screaming at your mum is psychological abuse. i does no longer imagine you're contained in the incorrect, i'm sorry you're being dealt with this way, in case you need to get out the homestead then i'd say ask your human beings in case you are able to stay with them or a minimum of until eventually you get a job or bypass to uni. i imagine you need to bypass uni, see what you are able to replace about your existence and stuff and then bypass out, she starved you! for 2 weeks! i imagine you need to communicate with someone, your mom cant try this, nd its completely incorrect, communicate to someone because this cant bypass on, breaking of handles, locked on cabinets, locked all of your suff away, they assume you to bypass round bare or some thing, if i knew any more effective positive i'd say that is infant abuse. its no longer truly serious, yet no food, no stuff, locked contained in the homestead. i'm 13 ok and that i'm allowed out the homestead on each occasion i elect yet might want to be in through 9:00 yet i'm frequently in previously to observe eastenders, LOL. i'm hoping you locate help and that i imagine shouting isn't some thing, your the single being mentally abused! having issues put on your head that your incorrect and stuff.

sometimes in the house and near the shower are hot water valves to turn it off and on. like the ones under your sink.

If there is no noise, your pilot light may have gone out. You need to re-light it.

relight the pilot open thing on front and use long lighter
