I just gave my black lab mix, who is 9 months old a bath with oatmeal dog shampoo. I cleaned her real good cause its been a long time since her last bath. When she was dry, I petted her and realized she was shedding pretty good. I got her brush out to comb her and Ive been combing for 45 minutes now and she hasnt stopped shedding. I have like a huge amount of black dog hair in a pile and its not letting up! Im getting worried! ive bathed her with this same shampoo before and this didnt happen!

This is perfectly normal. Your dog is growing up and getting her adult coat. Excessive shedding after a bath is perfectly normal for your lab. Not to worry!

With the wormer weather now he is shedding out his winter coat. Excessive shedding can also mean either stress or poor diet. He may be lacking a nutriant. Also it is not un common after a bath to see lots of hair you removing all the dead skin and hair from him

Well, it's getting close to summer so your dog is probably losing her wintre coat. Plus, shampooing/bathing a dog will help get rid of dead skin and hair so it's normal that she is shedding. Don't worry about it because the brushing probably makes her feel good too!

dog hair falls out its natural...thats why they dont need hair cuts, they shed when their hair is too long..oh and try and give it a bath once a week and use dog shampoo...by doing so it well shed less..washing more than once a week leads to sheding because its bad for there skin/hair;not washing enough leads to shedding and is bad for their skin as well...so once a week and your dog will be fine

and it may be growing its adult coat of hair??

No worries. You loosened up the hair that were almost ready to fall out naturally. This is normal and happens to my dog after I give her a bath too. :)

every animal whether its a dog or cat they shed tremendously around this time of year. not to worry. certain times of year you mostly notice you lose a lot of hair too. especially after you take a shower. just look in your bathroom clog or hair brush. there. it's normal.

I have short hair for the first time since I actually was 10 years old and I really like it but I miss my long curly locks so I'm growing it back out!

It's all just a matter of personal preference. We have short hair and guys like it. And i prefer a man with short hair over a man with long hair because long hair tends to make guys look also girly.
