When I try to add a "pps or .ppt to sync, it tells me: " xyz.pps is a "PowerPoint 97, 2000, 2001,XP" file. This type of file cannot be used with Documents To Go" ... I use a Tungsten T3, with a registered copy of Documents To Go.

It is likely that all powerpoint presentations cannot be presented from your Palm device. there could be countless reasons for this, including:
1) Documents To Go is not a microsoft program, but rather a Palm program created with permission from MS, and the programmers decided not to include powerpoint capabilities when creating the program.
2) You are allowed to carry a pps document on your palm PC, but the palm PC does not have the hardware ability to present a pps doc. Remember pps docs are purpose designed for presentation purposes to large numbers of people, which are almost never attempted from a palm PC.
