Not with the religion that supported the crusades and the inquisition.
Not with the religious hierarchies that turned a blind eye to the dictatorships in Latin America, the death penalty wherever it exists and the corruption of some politicians.
Not with priests who will not let people wear condoms, which brings about the fact that there are poor children dying everywhere just because their parents couldn't just wear one on time, so as not to be "sinners".
Not with those Christians who make the lives of excelent people a living hell, just because they are totally incapable of understanding that homosexuality is no more (and no less) than another way of love, as sincere and honest (or cheating and false) as any heterosexual love can be.
Not with those who are there to censor a girl, because she is undergoing an abortion, which she is not happy at all about, in the first place; but will altogether forget that if that child is born, he'll need food and shelter which this girl can't provide, and the church does not help her to get.
Not with those who frown upon you, just because you don't have their prejudices and taboos about sex.
Not with hundreds or thousands of priests who have been accused of abusing minors or have not been accused yet, out of panic in these minors.
Not with sanctimonious fascists who will use their influence on national states, to censor straightforwardly any work of art that is critical of them, instead of simply giving their version of the story, and suggesting, inviting or even ordering (their club, their rules) believers not to go.
No, with those people and things, I will never get along. My fight with you is till either of us disappears.
Now, with the rest of the church, with decent people who hear before speaking, who don't judge, who respect you for what you are, and NEVER try to change you... with those people, I DO already get along.

Oh, I so want to! I want to frolic in the meadows with the wabbits and birdies and hold hands with the theists and sing songs of friendship, compassion and love! ;-)
Let the Hippie Love return! ;-)

Nope. Sad isn't it? We're all the same and yet, we all think we are sooo different from each other.
We're all made up of the same stuff and have the same emotions and yet - we argue and fight like children!
You took my land! No I didn't! Yes you did and your god sucks! Nu uh, yours does and yes you did!
Ridiculous.

If only it was that simple.... But as long as there are people that feed off other people's misery, the answer is sadly no.
