Sure. Just store the battery in a dry cool place. It's not gonna hurt the electronics in the car any. In fact, to do a hard reboot for most engine computers, they tell you to disconnect the battery for 20 mins. All that'll happen if you're ride's computer controlled is that it'll reset to the factory default.
Any driver settings, may be lost. Radio presets, or alarm codes, etc will be cleared and reset, but it's usually pretty simple to fix.

Yes but cover terminals with electrical tape after you remove the battery so you don't accidently short across them. And charge it before you reinstall it. And don't set it on concrete--put plastic or wood under it.

You can take it out for as long as you want! But it will lose it's charge over time, and letting your car sit without running it for too long will cause some problems.

depends on what you are doing with the battery?

You're gonna have to reset the clock anyway and the radio presets.

Make sure the battery is still in good condition, or buy a new one to put back in the car.

Hook it up, turn the key.

sure but it may go dead from sitting and when sitting on the ground put wood pr plastic under it
