Quick and dirty way: open it in an image editor (Paint, Irfanview, Photoshop, whatever) and save-as to .jpg format.

Just in case someone doesn't know how: when you open the .bmp file in Paint, click on File, and the resulting pull-down menu will have a Save As option.
Choosing this gives you a menu where one of the options along the bottom says Save as Type. You can choose the JPEG format from the list there. Make up a file name and you're good to go!

Go to Start/Programs/Accessories/Paint and open up the Paint Program. Find the file you want to convert from .bmp and then open it with Paint. Choose "File" on the Menu and then go to "Save as" and choose "Save as file type" and choose ".jpg" then just save the file and its in .jpg or you can download a program like Graphics Workshop : )

Right click the file click Edit.
The file will open in MS PAINT.
Now click File -> Save as
In the new window look at the bottom, select file type as .jpg and then press save . You will see a NEW File in the location where you saved it.

All you have to do is open it in any pretty much any photo editor and save it as .jpg its usually the bottom drop down menu at the bottom of the save window. If you have windows, the "Paint" program will work fine. It's in the start menu under "Accessories"
