I wouldn't worry so much about whether men like you, but whether or not you can handle dating a man you have to look down to. There are many men who don't mind dating taller women (although you might wanna stay away from heels on dates) In fact some guys even find it pretty hot, since a tall lean body is often very sexy. But if you can't stand the thought of having to lean down to kiss your man than you might want to rethink your own dating standards. What's most important is that you're comfortable with your body. More than height or weight, what men love most is women with confidence.

Yes, especially since guys seem to be getting taller, too. According to Wikipedia, the average guy is 5'9" and the average girl is 5'3". I don't know how recent their information is, but most women I know are between 5'6" and 5'10", including me (I'm 5'9"). My dad's family are all over 6'2" with my "little" brother measuring up to 6'6"! Besides, if all the women were really that short, the pants in the store would not be as long as they are. ;)
By the way, my husband is only a 1/2" taller than me!

I don't think that most guys like girls who are taller than they are (I don't), but since most guys are your height or taller -- at least among adult Americans -- it is likely that most guys will see you as being average height rather than as tall. For example, I'm 5'10", and women who are my height or 5'9" don't look "tall" to me at all, and they sure don't seem unattractive.
I don't think you should "hate" your height at all. 5'9"-10" is a pretty good height for anyone to be, IMHO.

I think 5'9"-10" is the perfect height for a girl. I had a classmate back in college who was the same height. I guess she tended to slump her shoulders to make herself look shorter. I thought to myself why??? 5'9"-10" is gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous.

I would love to find someone compatible of your height.. I am about 4 inches taller than you.
that would be great for me.. the possibility for comfortable eye contact.. the nearly similar walking stride for going anywhere and doing anything. Holding hands is not uncomfortable.
So many positive possibilities are there to focus on.. give it another thought with a little more optimism. :) You are a great height for me.

So am I. It seemed bad when I was fourteen and taller than most of the boys in my school. Most boys/men do. The guys that are really short (under 5'6'') can be weird about it though. Stand up straight and be proud of your beautiful self!

im 5'11 or better and iv never had any complaints! men love those long legs..lol...yes men love tall girls...dont hate it,, just enjoy it!!! besides us tall girls are envied by the short ones cause we got thos long elegant legs that men love!!!! we can put on high heels and short shorts and drive em crazy!!!!! lol. dont hate it, love it!! lol

i dont really mind
i actually prefer girls who are about 1/2 head - 1 head shorter than me.
well im 6 foot so..... not so hard
but i like the girls to be a bit shorter.....

I am 6'4 it is hard to find a woman that I don't have to bend down and kiss. I love the height!!!!
