Certainly, there are lots of women who cannot help but resort to those things when they are angry and you call these women temperamental and harmful. But that doesn't necessarily mean that they don't love their men. May be, it's just their way to ease the pain inside or to avoid doing the harm to themselves more especially when they have suicidal tendencies.
But as to what bcomes of you after receiving those blows, that's what matters most. Is your self-esteem lessened? Is your ego hurt? Does it make you less a man? You should try to analyze if her feats of anger have valid reasons. If at the end of your analysis, you sincerely believe that you don't deserve those blows, give her a warning to stop doing that to you.
If she still continues despite your pleas that she refrains from being like that, I would say that you should better let her go. You don't deserve her at all. Wait for someone who will respect you, love you and take good care of your well being because everyone deserves to be happy in any romatnic relationship he enters into. Being or feeling miserable with the one you love is a sure sign that that relationship does not work. Believe in your heart that somehow, Destiny will find you a woman who is much better and more deserving of your love. Good luck.

She may be a girl ,but fight back. Talk to her. I would seek help from a profession. In a relationship there must be good communication. It sounds like there is no communication in this relationship. True couples tell each other how they feel.

If your serious then you should seriously leave her, if you still love her and somehow share soome of the blame, then get her to go to anger management groups as well as councilling with you. But most importantly, make it stop, you have to let her know that your are nolonger willing to put up with it.

If she's hitting you to kill time and you don't feel anything for her, leave her! leave town for some time, enjoy life again...
If not and you love her, maybe she got an insecurity in her childhood, just try not to respond to her bullying, that should make her know you'd not give in to her bullying and that you're only here to help...

you should leave her, loving some one should not be about pain.
abuse, just because you are a male doesn't mean that she
can do that. leave her now. and if possible get her and yourself
some counseling. i feel that both of you need it. AND JUST
