I'm interested in majoring in spanish but I' m not interested in becoming a translator or an instructor. I was just wondering if there were any really interesting careers other than these.

I'm a Spanish major in my last year of undergrad. I personally want to teach or translate professionally.

But. . you could work for a phone company, insurance company, law firm, apply to the U.S. Department of State, go into the Peace Corps, do some tutoring(private tutoring is lucrative!). . .

Hope this helps a bit. Good luck with your decision! There have to be more opportunities out there. I'm sure you'll think of something.

well, having a major in spanish would be awesome because you'd have more chances of getting a job than another person who didnt' speak spanish. u can work in an airport. i don't know. but being able to speak more than one language is great!
