If you graduated from University and have 12 years of
background (of what) and are skilled, why don't you go
to the Australian Embassy in your country or find the address
on the inter-net and write and asked them questions.
You probably could find a lot more info on the inter-net instead
of asking and writing such a poorly worded question!

As in the United States, people from other countries with medical backgrounds or professions that are short in staff, are more likely to attain a viza in order to practive the profession once they arrive. You may not practive immediately once you arrive. It may take a few months to years. If you like what you do the time will not matter. Find out about Australia's job demographics online. You are bilingual, I am sure of it. See if there are natives to your country in Australia and try to contact them and get a feeling on their satisfaction. Try the embassy and ask questions and questions. Look at tourist publications and ask yourself if these attractions need someone like you two.

I heard this on the radion regarding Canada's way of attracting educated people to their country. I forgot what radio station. Try NPR.ORG 89.3 KPCC

What country are you wanting to leave to go to Australia. I gather English is not your native language. Anyway, you will need to contact the Australian government to see what their immigration requirements are. Your government will also need to provide you with the documentation and what steps to take to immigrate. Good luck.

My aunt tried to immigrate to Australia and they wouldn't take her. I think it's harder to immigrate to Australia than pretty much anywhere. Immigrate to the US-we take pretty much everyone even if you're not here legally.
